Luke 18:15-17
In this message, we witness the tender yet profound moment when Jesus welcomes the little children, revealing the heart of God toward the helpless and dependent. In a world that often seeks to shape young hearts away from truth, this passage reminds us that God’s grace reaches further than culture or circumstance. Children, even before they can understand or believe, are precious in His sight and belong fully to Him.
Jesus’ words, “Let the little children come to Me, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these,” offer assurance that God cherishes the young and safeguards them in His care. From the womb onward, He knows every child, calling them His own and promising that none are forgotten. This divine embrace is more than affection—it is mercy, protection, and a revelation of God’s heart toward those who cannot protect themselves.
Salvation has always been by grace—for infants, children, and believers alike. The kingdom of heaven belongs to those who receive it with the faith of a child: trusting, dependent, and open to God’s mercy. How might we approach Christ today with that same childlike trust, allowing Him to guide, protect, and embrace us in His everlasting love?
