Revelation 21:9-22:5
In Revelation 21–22, we are invited to walk with John as the eternal City of God is unveiled—a vision of heaven that captures the imagination and heart. The veil between the temporal and eternal is lifted, revealing a city radiant with divine brilliance. Foundations gleam with precious stones, streets shimmer like transparent gold, and gates, each a single pearl, reflect the cost of our redemption. Heaven is not a distant idea, but a promised reality crafted by the hands of our Creator.
This holy city fulfills the faith of Abraham, comforts the sorrow of Christ’s disciples, and stands as the eternal home prepared for His bride—the redeemed of all ages. The light of God replaces sun and moon, and worship will no longer be confined to temples or moments, for the Lord Himself dwells among His people. Every detail—the streets, the gates, the radiance—reminds us of the reality of His kingdom and the magnificence of eternity with Him.
The vision serves as both assurance and invitation: for believers, a promise of eternal fellowship with Christ; for those yet to know Him, a call to enter the glory that awaits. Heaven is real, Christ is the way, and eternity with Him surpasses all understanding. How does this vision of the City of God inspire your hope and transform the way you live today?
