1 John 2:18-29
The Apostle John reveals the urgency of our age, urging us to recognize that we are living in the final hours of human history. The world is moving toward a divine conclusion, and the spirit of the Antichrist is already at work—opposing Christ, spreading deception, and even infiltrating places of worship. Believers are called to stand firm, anchored in truth, and unwavering in devotion to the Savior.
This message is not meant to provoke fear, but to awaken steadfast faith. We are invited to abide in Christ, to persevere when others falter, and to walk faithfully when the world embraces falsehood. The Holy Spirit guides and protects us, teaching discernment so that we may distinguish truth from error. Those who truly belong to Christ recognize His voice, cling to His Word, and will not be swayed by the growing darkness around them. Confidence and peace belong to those who remain in Him.
The question John poses to every believer is urgent: when Christ appears, will we stand with assurance, or shrink away in regret? The time to choose is now. The closing chapter of this world is being written, and eternity awaits. Let us not spend these hours in compromise or indifference, but live with courage, obedience, and faithfulness. For those who dwell in righteousness and remain in Christ, fear is replaced by the unshakable hope of eternal life with Him. How are we preparing our hearts for His return today?
